A brand new De-aeration Plant

Instek Control delivered a Centec De-aeration system at one of South Africa's biggest Breweries, June 2017

Through the course of 2016 and early 2017, Instek Control delivered four Centec, DeGaS – Cold de-aeration skids to major brewing facilities in Southern Africa. We are proud to say that the number did not stop at four.

On 27 June 2017, another De-aeration skid was delivered at one of the bigger brew houses in Southern Africa. These systems were manufactured to the different clients’ requirements and requests.

In the food and beverage industry, dissolved oxygen has adverse impact on flavour stability and shelf life. The de-aeration system DeGaS-Cold removes oxygen from water that is used for the production of beer and beer-based mixed drinks and soft drinks.

In other industries dissolved oxygen plays a major part in piping erosion and boiler deterioration.

Centec also manufacture these plants for the smaller Craft brewers, and have models available to suit the desired output, quality levels, and budgetary constraints.

Send us your details and we will get back to you with more information on these process skids.

Centec’s systems and sensors are engineered to perfectly meet the most demanding requirements of the brewery, beverage, food and pharmaceutical industries. With a team of experienced engineers, they aim to create quantifiable added value for their customers and we at Instek Control are proud to be their representatives in Africa.

When it comes to a brewery, you clean to prevent the transfer of tastes from one beer to the next, and you clean to help assure your product is safe for human consumption. In the face of increasing supply and demand, brewing plants are compelled to keep the cost of production as low as possible, without sacrificing safety and quality of the end-product.

The highest priority in the production of food, beverages and pharmaceuticals is product safety. In sanitary applications, such as the production of vaccines or baby food, the purity, quality and stability of the product must be ensured.
